100 Years Ago: Street Car Has Head-On Collision

Sept. 21, 1911: In Head-On Collision: Marlboro Man Pitched Over Seat in Crash on Milford Car

C.H. Downing, 144 Pleasant St., representative of Snell & Simpson, cracker manufacturers, was in the head-on collision on the Milford & Uxbridge street railway yesterday afternoon, and while he was not seriously hurt, received injuries to his right leg and body that will keep the event long embalmed in his memory.
