100 Years Ago: Marlborough Boy Injured When Bike, Auto Collide

Six days a weeks (Mon—Sat) Marlborough Patch will highlight an interesting story from the Marlborough Daily Enterprise published on that date 100 years ago.

July 25, 1911: Bicycle and Auto Collide: Wm. Dunn, 12 Years of Age, Seriously Injured as Result of Monday's Accident

While riding a bicycle on South st. Monday evening, William, 12 years old son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Dunn, 58 Emmett st., was struck by an automobile driven and owned by Frederick H. Hilton of Framingham. 

The accident happened near the corner of W. Main and Main streets. He was going acrosss the street, according to eye witnesses, when the collision occurred. He was thrown to the ground and Mr. Hilton at once stopped his Machine.
