100 Years Ago: Lt. Governor Visits Marlborough on Campaign Tour

Sept. 8, 1911: Candidate at Gleason House: Lieut. Gov. Frothingham will Meet Republicans of this City

Lieut. Gov. L.A. Frothingham, candidate for the Republican nomination for governor, will be in town this Friday afternoon and meet his friends at the Gleason House. Speaker Joseph Walker of Brookline has already made a visit here and met those favoring him for the nomination, but this is Lieut. Gov. Frothingham's first visit here since he announced himself a candidate for the nomination.
