100 Years Ago: A Coat is Stolen in Marlborough

Oct. 11, 1911: Stole Coat Monday Night: Tebo is Arrested for Taking the Property of Mrs. Kelly

A man, who gave his name as Joseph Tebo, was arrested by Officer Connors at about 4:30 Tuesday afternoon, charged with the larceny of a coat valued at $20, the property of Mrs. John E. Kelley, Winthrop Street. The garment was taken from Estabrook Hall Monday evening. Mrs. Kelley was attending the meeting of the Ladies A.O.H. auxiliary. She was performing her duties as inside sentinel.
