People's Favorites Take Chowder and Chili Honors
The Heritage Festival judges crowned the people's choices best chowder and best chili Sunday.
The judges and people spoke in unison Sunday as Welly's was crowned as having the best chowder and Buffet Way best chili at the Marlborough Heritage Festival.
The winner of both the people's palates and the judge's were Welly's for the chowder contest. Second place was handed out to Fish Restaurant and Wine Bar by the judges and people. Third place was awarded to Marlborough Hospital by the judges and Kennedy's Market by the people.
The newly added chili contest had the people and judges in agreement across the board. Buffet Way come out on top, followed by Sully's 1st Edition and then Checkerboard's in third place.
