Puppet Shows and Bilingual Story Time Top Kids' Calendar

Friday Night Skating
Where/When: Roller Kingdom, 5 Highland Park Ave., Hudson. Friday, March 25 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Why Go: With more than 25,000 sq ft. filled with programmed light and sound shows, a video arcade, the karaoke and dance “Beat Box,” as well as a beautiful hardwood skating surface, Roller Kingdom guarantees you fun for all ages. For an entirely different dimension of action and excitement our rink has Lasertag - a great addition to your festivities.
Pricing: $7 includes skate rental.

Music and Movement with Ms. Carolyn
Where/When: The Discovery Museums, 177 Main Street, Acton. Friday, March 25 at 10 a.m.
Why Go: Come explore sound through singing and playing. Move, make music, listen, learn, and get a multi-sensory workout! Music improves your child’s memory, cognitive development, learning skills, and ability to express emotion. Plus, it’s fun! Ms. Carolyn is a professional musician, serves as a faculty member at Indian Hill Music School, and has been a licensed Kindermusik Educator for 5 years.
Pricing: Free, with the price of admission.

Mother Goose on the Loose Bilingual Story-time
Where/When: Worcester Public Library, 3 Salem Square, Worcester. Friday, March 25 from 10 to 10:45 a.m.
Why Go: Mother Goose on the Loose Bilingual Storytime. Registration required; call 508-799-1655 to register. Children 2 through 5 years old will enjoy a fun-filled, interactive, bilingual 30 minute session featuring rhymes, stories, songs with musical instruments and puppets to stimulate the learning process! Session is free and open to the public and five weeks long! Adult must accompany child.

Tanglewood Marionettes Puppet Show "The Fairy Circus"
Where/When: Amazing Things Arts Center, 160 Hollis Street, Framingham. Saturday, March 26 at 3 p.m.
Why Go: Featuring over twenty beautifully hand-crafted marionettes, "The Fairy Circus" is a showcase for turn-of-the-century-style trick puppetry. The puppets will dance, play instruments, juggle, contort, transform, and fly through the air with the greatest of ease, all to the best-loved music of favorite composers! Recommended Grade Levels: Family (All ages).
Pricing: $10 Members/$12 Non-Members

Toys, Trains, and Teddy Bears, Oh My! — A Teddy Bear Picnic and Toy Display
Where/When: Edwards Church, 39 Edwards Street, Framingham. Saturday, March 26 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Why Go: A free event for people of all ages! Come enjoy a classic "Teddy Bear Picnic," and view a wide variety of trains, dolls, and other toys from throughout the ages. Contact us if you have something you'd like to display. As a "perk" for those who are willing to display their toys, dolls, trains, etc., we have an appraiser coming, who will appraise your displayed items for free, if you would like.
