PHOTO CONTEST: Show Us Your Food

We know your food pictures are all over Instagram and other forms of social media - upload them here, and you could win a $25 prize.

You know when you're looking at your plate, admiring the mouth-watering food you're about to consume? And then, you take out your smartphone, snap a photo, apply a cool filter, and upload it to some form of social media for all your friends to see?

We want to see those photos in our contest this week.

So, whether it's your breakfast that you put on Instagram, that dessert you uploaded to Facebook or the picture of the meal you posted along with your latest Foursquare check in, let's see it!

Our weekly contest, with a different theme starting each Wednesday, allows eligible participants the chance to win a $25 gift card to a local business.

Photos must be uploaded by 6 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday, Dec. 24. You may enter as many photos as you'd like. If you like a particular photo, voice your support for it in the comments.

The winner, chosen by Patch editors, will be announced on Tuesday, Dec. 25.

Eligibility is limited to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 and older.

To upload your photo, just sign in to Patch, click the "Upload Photos and Videos" button on this article, choose a photo you'd like to submit, add a caption, and save.

For full rules, see the PDF attached to this article.

We can't wait to see your pictures!
