More Than 1,000 Lose Power in East Marlborough

National Grid reported that more than 1,000 customers were without power Thursday afternoon due to a fallen tree limb.

National Grid said a tree limb on Sudbury Street was to blame for a power outage in East Marlborough Thursday.

As of 1:30 p.m., the company's website said 1076 customers were without power and service was expected to return as of 3 p.m. According to the city's official Facebook page, the outage affected residents on Sudbury Street and Concord Road.

Shortly before 2 p.m., a representative from National Grid told Marlborough Patch that power had been restored to all affected customers.
