May 18: Marlborough's Headlines 100 Years Ago

Six days a weeks (Mon—Sat) Marlborough Patch will highlight an interesting story from the Marlborough Daily Enterprise published on that date 100 years ago.

May 18: Mrs. Jarley the Entertainer: She Exhibits her Wax Works at M.E. Church Wednesday Night

The announcement that Mrs. Jarley was to appear at the Methodist church Wednesday evening with her famous "wax works" was responsible for the cord that completely filled the vestry, and it is safe to say that the anticipations for an evening's fun were fully realized by all who attenden (sic).
