Hazardous Waste Collection Day Saturday

The city is hosting its semi-annual hazardous waste collection day Saturday.

The Department of Public Works will be hosting its semi-annual household hazardous waste collection day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The collection will be taking place at the city's Easterly Water pollution Control Facility located at 860 Boston Post Rd East.

A list of materials that will be accepted is listed below:

Mercury Thermometers (one digital thermometer replacement per family), Mercury Thermostats, Elemental Mercury, Usable Clothing, Paired Shoes, Blankets

  • Unknown or Unlabeled Materials
