Friday Night Skating
Where/When: Roller Kingdom, 5 Highland Park Ave., Hudson. Friday February 4, from 7-9 p.m.
Why Go: With more than 25,000 sq ft. filled with programmed light and sound shows, a video arcade, the karaoke and dance “Beat Box,” as well as a beautiful hardwood skating surface, Roller Kingdom guarantees you fun for all ages. For an entirely different dimension of action and excitement our rink has Lasertag - a great addition to your festivities.

Fecth! Float my Boat 
Where/When: The Discovery Museums, 177 Main Street, Acton. Friday, March 4, 10 a.m.
Why Go: Investigate floating and sinking using a variety of familiar materials as you create your own boat to float in our tubs of water. A preschool-level adaptation of this popular Fetch! activity. Sponsored by Middlesex Savings Bank, with additional support from Red Hat, Inc.

10th Anniversary Celebration
Where/When: Horray For Books, 89 Hayden Rowe, Hopkinton. Saturday March 4, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Why Go: Teaches children 2-10 to read, with a side of cooking and a cup of humor. Visit from Clifford, author Susan Lubner at 10:30 a.m.; scratch tickets for first 100; cooking decorating station, musician Stacey Peasley at 11 a.m., raffle and more.

Worcesterooners Lego Club
Where/When: Children's Program Room, Worcester Public Library, 3 Salem Square, Worcester. Saturday March 5, from 9:30-11 a.m.
Why Go: Free, just drop in, nothing to bring! Ages 4-12 with parent. Free-form building.

Jammin' in Our Wellies
Where/When:
EcoTarium, 222 Harrington Way, Worcester. Saturday, March 5, from 1-3 p.m.
Why Go: Come and enjoy a children's celebration of the weather through the arts. Students from the Seven Hills Charter Public School will be celebrating the weather through a wide variety of art displays. Students will also present songs about the weather, instrument presentations and dance performances.
Pricing: $8 for children, $12 for adults.
