Sales at Target and Much More in Marlborough this Week
Organize your home, find sheets and storage tubs on sale, and get a BOGO deal at Boston Market.
The holidays have passed and Marlborough families are taking back their homes by putting away decorations, cleaning closets, and getting organized. Think twice before you pack things away and store them in the basement. If you haven’t used something in a year, you probably won’t use it again. Get it into the hands of someone who can use it.
1. Donate items to the Marlborough Community Cupboard: Carol Phipps, manager of the Marlborough Community Cupboard, would be pleased to receive your donations of children's and adult clothing, baby equipment, games and toys, paperback books, videos, small household items (no large equipment or furniture please) as well as non-perishable food items. The (formally known as Marlborough Community Services) Donations can be dropped off on Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Don't forget to get a receipt so you can deduct your donation from next year's taxes.
2. Sell your kids stuff to Children's Orchard. Childrens Orchard in Westborough is a great place to take quality baby items, toys, and children's clothing that is in good shape. If they do take your items, you can either get cash or a store credit. Contact them at 508-366-5437 to make an appointment to bring in your items.

3. List your unwanted things on Freecycle. The Marlborough, Sudbury and Hudson Freecycle Community is full of people who are eager to find great things for free. Start by joining Freecycle and offering an item. Soon you will have an easy way to find your unwanted things a good home.
4. Storage tubs and sheets are on sale at : Sterlite 18 gallon tub $4.99; Rubbermaid 71 Quart clear storage box $7.99. There is also a "Bed and Bath Event" going on right now: Fieldcrest Luxury Full 600 thread-count Egyptian Cotton sheets sets $58; Thomas O'Brien Vintage Modern Bath Towel $8.99 each.
