Easter Egg Hunt Meets the Grove Doctors This Weekend

It's Thursday, and you've got no idea what you'll do for the weekend. Patch is coming to the rescue. We've got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check our picks for the activities to hit and new bars/restaurants/shops to explore.

Friday Night Skating
Where/When: Roller Kingdom, 5 Highland Park Ave., Hudson. Friday April 8 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Why Go: With more than 25,000 sq ft. filled with programmed light and sound shows, a video arcade, the karaoke and dance “Beat Box”, as well as a beautiful hardwood skating surface, Roller Kingdom guarantees you fun for all ages. Celebrate "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie's Masquerade" with Radio Disney
Where/When: Solomon Pond Road, 601 Donald Lynch Blvd., Marlborough. Saturday, April 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Why Go: Disney Junior is celebrating the debut of "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie's Masquerade" with a fun, interactive family event hosted by Radio Disney. Kids and families are invited to enjoy themed activities including do-it-yourself masquerade masks and the chance to win Disney Junior themed prizes. The Radio Disney Road Crew will provide on-stage entertainment inviting kids to sing and dance to Radio Disney Junior songs from their favorite Disney Junior series.

Fetch — Stack 'em Up
Where/When: The Discovery Museums, 177 Main St., Acton. Saturday, April 9 at 10 a.m.
Why Go: A cup isn’t very tall. But what about a lot of cups? Your challenge is to build a tower just made out of cups. How high can you go? Remember, the sky’s the limit! Sponsored by Middlesex Savings Bank, with additional support from Red Hat, Inc. WGBH Educational Foundation. Pricing: Free, with the price of admission.

Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Craft Sale
Where/When: Our Lady of Fatima Shrine, 101 Summer St., Holliston. Saturday, April 9 at 1 p.m.
Why Go: Sponsored by the Medway Chapter, Xaverian Chapter of Fatima Shrine. Guaranteed prizes and eggs for all children, free refreshments, optional face painting, $2 each. An "early bird" spring craft sale, featuring hand-decorated Easter egg trees, wreaths, centerpieces, silk scarves, Easter baskets and "stuffers."
