Deals on Lunch and Kids' Activities in Marlborough

Keep your kids busy this spring and summer with these great activities! Some are free, and some are a great value! Refer to the merchants directly for the terms and conditions for their offers.

1. You and your child can make something great at the free Home Depot Kids Workshop. The workshops are held the first Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. to noon. On May 7, make a tulip planter, which is a great Mothers Day gift. On June 4, make a valet organizer, which is a great Fathers Day gift. The suggested age for these projects is 5-12, but since this is an adult-supervised activity, younger kids are definitely welcome. Coming to the Kids Workshop has already become a great tradition for a number of area families and it can become a tradition for yours as well. No need to sign up ahead of time, but it is first come first serve. To participate check in at the Home Depot Service Desk, or just walk in the direction of the hammering! Home Depot is located at 701 Boston Post Rd E.

2. This summer, Kids Bowl for Free! Select bowling centers across the country are participating in this great program. Sign up your children ages 15 and under, and each week you can print for two free games per child per day. After you submit your information, you will be sent to another offer to buy a pass for $24.99 so the whole family can bowl for free all summer, but you don’t have to do that. PINZ Entertainment in Milford is one of the participating bowling center and is located at 110 S. Main St., Milford.

3. WXLO has a half-off Tuesday deals. The deal that I have been waiting for will be available starting April 26, 2011: The Davis Farmland Family 4-pack!  Regularly priced at $80, you can get it here for $40. The deal is limited to 100 passes, so if you think you’ll go there, be sure to take advantage of this deal soon.  See the details at the promotion for terms and conditions.

6. Can’t make it to the Royal Wedding? Set your DVR and create the ultimate Royal Wedding playdate with great ideas at Disney Family.com! Children can print out their own Princess Kate paper dolls and dress them in Disney Princess gowns. Every little girl knows that a true Princess sports a gown of yellow, pink, or blue! There are lots of crafts and goodies for the kids, and mom can make a Royal fascinator to spiff up her usual jeans and T-shirt attire for the big event.
