City To Host Annual 'Home For The Holidays' Tree Lighting

Head on down to Main Street tonight for some family fun.

The annual "Home for the Holidays" tree lighting ceremony will take place tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. on Union Common, at the intersection of Route 20 (Main Street) and Route 85.

The festivities will include the arrival of Mayor Nancy Stevens and Santa Claus via fire truck at 6:15 p.m. Next, the tree lighting will take place while residents enjoy the music of the Marlborough High School Combined Chorus. Performing at the will be the String Ensemble at 6:45 p.m. and the Jazz Band at 7:30 p.m.

There will be lots of fun-filled activities on the common including live barn animlas, music, free balloons, popcorn, candy canes and hot chocolate. And, of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand for pictures!
