A Celtic Celebration and Wine Dinner Highlight Weekend Activities

It's Thursday, and you've got no idea what you'll do for the weekend. Marlborough Patch is coming to the rescue. We've got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check our picks for the activities to hit and new bars/restaurants/shops to explor

1. A Celtic Celebration
Where/When: Hudson Town Hall, Second Floor, Main Street, Hudson. Friday, Feb. 25, at 7:30 p.m.
Why Go: Community Arts Series presents A Celtic Celebration with The Kerry Boys, performing a program of Irish songs.
Pricing: Adults $12/seniors & students $10.

2. Le Piane Winemaker Dinner
Where/When: Panzano, 154 Turnpike Road, Southborough. Friday, Feb. 25. Wine Tasting starts at 5 p.m. Dinner will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Why Go: Christoph Kunzli of Le Piane will host a wine tasting and dinner. The cost is $80, plus tax and gratuity for the dinner at Tomasso. A complimentary wine tasting held 5-7 p.m. at Panzano. 3. The Groove Devils
Where/When: Gilreins, 802 Main Street, Worcester. Saturday, Feb. 26, from 9 p.m.-12:30 a.m.

4. Not in Kansas
Where/When: JJ's Sports Bar & Grille, 380 Southwest Cutoff, Northborough. Saturday Feb. 26 at 9 p.m.
Why Go: From modern country to Southern rock, Shanna Jean and Not In Kansas will have you dancing and singing along to popular hits from artists such as Carrie Underwood, Sarah Evans, Taylor Swift, The Dixie Chicks, Sugarland and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

5. Blues Jam
Where/When: Stone's Meeting House, 179 Main Street, Ashland. Sunday, Feb. 20 at 8 p.m.
Why Go: Meet Pete Henderson & Co. Hang out with the band and listen to some of the best Blue's music in the Metrowest!
