  1. The kids head back to today, but be careful on the roads early this morning as many of them are probably still pretty icy.
  2. The weekly open mike night at the Harvest Café is this evening at 7:30 p.m., hosted by saxophonist Joe Ferrierra.
  3. There is a meeting at this evening host by the , to discuss the proposed improvements to the City’s Easterly Wastewater Treatment Facility. This meeting was originally scheduled to be held last week, but will now begin at 6:30 tonight.
  4. Edgar Allen Poe was born on this day in 1809 in Boston, Mass. Famous for his connection to Baltimore, Md. where he is buried, people often forget the great writer’s origins were in the Bay State. Click here to learn more info at history.com.
  5. There will be a creative writing class today at the Marlborough Senior Center on Main Street. The program will begin at 1 p.m.
