5 Things: City Council President and Fire Fighters Union Contract

The City Council has elected their president for the year and the fire fighter's union contract is set to be discussed.

1. City Council President Patricia Pope will continue in her roll for another year following a unanymous vote at this week's City Council meeting. Councilor Edward Clancy will serve as the council's vice president.

3. Auditions will be held today for the Ghost Light Player's performance of "Love Comics." The group's performances have proven to be a hit, including their outdoor showing of Shakespeare.

4. The Finance Committee will take up a discussion of a three year contract with the Fire Department Local 1714. The contract is valued at just north of $111,000.
