Elmo visits Southborough library with the UFund Start U Reading series

The UFund Start U Reading program came to the Southborough Public Library Friday October 4 bringing a special guest – Elmo! Children were treated to a special story time ending with picture alongside Elmo.

The U.Fund Start U. Reading Series is one of MEFA’s statewide early college planning initiatives designed to introduce young students’ to the joy of reading and literacy through interdisciplinary activities.  Participants had an opportunity to meet Elmo, have their photo taken, and received a goody bag filled with information on how to start saving for college and gifts for the children!
