‘The Solar And Wind Expo Massachusetts’ Coming To Marlborough In Nov

‘The Solar and Wind Expo Massachusetts’ will take place at the Royal Plaza Trade Center in Marlborough, November 4-6, 2011. Held across the country, the Expo will expose Bay State consumers to the exciting possibility of getting energy from nature.

The Expo is the venue for alternative energy and green companies and those who are devoted to reducing their carbon footprint and adopting more environmentally friendly ways to meet. The event is dedicated solely to renewable energy, including solar, wind, and geothermal, biomass and hydroelectric power. Exhibitors include manufacturers, installers, and lenders. Exhibitors and seminar speakers will be on hand to meet with consumers and show them how to save money while being kind to the environment.

Massachusetts is known as a pro renewable energy state. There are many federal, state and local incentives to encourage consumers to invest in renewable energy. However renewable energy technologies and incentives are constantly evolving so those interested in learning about the very latest developments are encouraged to visit the Expo.

According to a statement from George Lopez, executive director of Expo, “There is a real buzz now about renewable energy because people are realizing that while they are helping the country be less dependent on foreign oil, they can also do good things for the environment. The technology is growing quickly and becoming more affordable."

Admission to the show also includes access to seminars for both consumers and professionals in the renewable energy field. Seminar topics include the following and many more are in the works:
