Republic Waste Services steps up to support MEDC

Republic Waste Services Inc. (New England) made a presentation of $ 10,000 to the Marlborough Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) on May 25.

Republic Waste Services Inc. (New England) made a presentation of $ 10,000 to the Marlborough Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) on May 25. Bruce Stanas, Municipal & Government Affairs Manager accompanied by Rick Ray, Marlborough Route Supervisor presented the check to Mayor Nancy Stevens outside City Hall. Also present were Arthur Bergeron, Chairman MEDC and Arthur Vigeant, President City Council.

Republic Services is a leading provider of solid waste collection, transfer, recycling and disposal services. The company operates 348 collection companies in 40 states, as well as Puerto Rico and provides top quality services to commercial, industrial, municipal and residential customers.

In Marlborough, Republic Waste is the City’s residential solid waste and recyclables collection contractor. They also provide solid waste and recycling services to a number of commercial and industrial locations throughout the City.
