Mayor Stevens Recognized for Support of MEDC
Mayor Stevens is thanked for her support of economic development
At the launch of the Marlborough Economic Development Master Plan on September 28, the board of directors of the Marlborough Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) presented Mayor Nancy Stevens with a plaque in recognition of her years of service to MEDC.
MEDC Chairman Arthur Bergeron presented the plaque to Mayor Stevens reiterating that her guidance and leadership have been instrumental to the success MEDC has enjoyed over its first five years of operation. MEDC was founded in 2006 as “Marlborough 2010”, a partnership of leaders from the business community and city government with a shared goal of shaping a vision for the city’s future.
Mayor Stevens was a founder member of the MEDC, and currently serves as a board member.
