Marlborough To Host 3rd Annual Massachusetts Green Career Conference

Marlborough's successful green conference is back for the 3rd year.

The 3rd Massachusetts Green Career Conference will take place on September 30 at the Marlborough Holiday Inn. This is a forum for stakeholders in the greening economy, a showcase for experts and exhibitors giving green career guidance, a platform for updates and best practices in the greening economy, a place for job seekers to learn, and a networking opportunity for people throughout the Commonwealth.

The conference attracts  local and state government staff , business professionals, educators, academic administrators, career services staff, recruiters, workforce and economic development professionals, environmentalists, college students, job seekers, green career transitioners and people learning about and participating in the greening economy.

Exhibitors this year include Boston Architectural College, Building Performance Institute, Center for EcoTechnology (CET), Chapman Construction, Digital Lumens, Mass Climate Action Network, Mass GREEN Initiative, Mount Wachusett Community College, Next Step Living, NStar, University of Massachusetts, Wentworth Institute of Technology and more.

There will be an opportunity to sit down with one of five experts for a one-on-one meeting at the conference at no additional charge. Green Career Experts will coach and offer resume-feedback for people in career transition, while Sustainability Experts will coach people who want to learn more about sustainability.

The Massachusetts Green Career Conference is hosted by Green Workforce Training and Associates and the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center. The Conference Director is Jen Boudrie, an instructional design expert and a leader of local environmental sustainability efforts. The first two conferences sold out in advance and had over 300 participants.
