Marlborough City Hall Closes Early Tuesday for New Year's

Here are five things to know to help inform your day.

1. Marlborough City Hall will close at noon Tuesday and remain closed Wednesday for the New Year's holiday. 

2. City Hall will be closed Monday, Jan. 6 for the inauguration of Mayor Arthur Vigeant and newly elected City Council members.

3. The City Council at 11 a.m. Monday will choose a new set of leaders for the upcoming year.

4. Fish & Richardson, a law firm based in Boston, has joined the Middlesex County Pro Bono Domestic Violence program. The program provides victims with free legal counsel during the restraining order process.

5. In Case You Missed It: the price of stamps will increase in January by 3 cents, to 49 cents for a first-class letter-sized stamp.
