HAZMAT Unit Investigates Suspicious Letter in Marlborough

1. A clear day with temperatures in the high 60's is forecast for Friday.

2. The Fire Department's Hazardous Material unit responded to a call about a suspicious letter Wednesday night, according to Marlborough Deputy Captain John McGrath. "It was a suspicious letter turned out to be unfounded," he said.

3. This is just part of the services carried out by the fire department, said McGrath. If anyone has a non-emergency situation the fire department can be reached at (508) 485-2323 and then dispatch can be accessed by pressing 0.
