In an effort to serve our home city of Marlborough, Connecting Point Church will host a gardening day at Whitcomb Middle School. The goal is to beautify the courtyard of the school by mulching trees, raking and cleaning, trimming hedges and planting flowers among other things. This is our way of giving back to our community and the school that hosts our Sunday services. We welcome those with a green thumb or just an interest to serve come and help us. This event will take place at the Whitcomb Middle School on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at 10:00AM. Please bring work gloves, sunscreen, work clothes and any yard equipment we can share. The 1LT Charles W. Whitcomb Middle School serves the educational needs of of Marlborough students in grades four through seven. The administration and faculty equip students with the skills and attitudes needed to eventually being a contributing part of a global community. It tells students to be ready, respectful and responsible young individuals, while nurturing its academic and social growth.
