Vin Bin Hosts “A Murder in Wellesley” Authors for Book Signing
MARLBOROUGH – Retired State Police investigator Marty Foley and journalist Tom Farmer, authors of “A Murder in Wellesley, the Inside Story of an Ivy League Doctor’s Double Life, His Slain Wife and the Trial that Gripped the Nation,” will sign copies of their book on Friday, Nov. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Vin Bin, 91 Main St.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase and will be signed by the authors.
Lt. Foley was the lead investigator for the Massachusetts State Police in the disturbing murder of Mabel Greineder in 1999. As the murder shocked the leafy community of Wellesley, the town was shaken when her husband, prominent allergist and family man Dirk Greineder, became the lead suspect.
The investigation uncovered Greineder’s sordid double life involving prostitution, pornography and trysts.
The authors go beyond the headlines and tell the untold story of the meticulous investigation that led to Greineder’s arrest and conviction.
Tom Farmer is a former newspaper reporter and editor who covered the Greineder case for the Boston Herald.
Marty Foley, a Marlborough resident, retired as Detective Lieutenant from the State Police after 24 years on the force.
