Northborough — Eliot F. Parkhurst, Sr., 92, died on January 22, 2013 at Beaumont Nursing Center in Northborough. Parkhurst was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. From 1943 through 1945, he served as a commissioned officer, first commanding PT 566, a motor torpedo boat in MTB Ron 29 assigned to the Mediterranean, and then in MTB Ron 12 assigned to the Southwest Pacific and based out of the Philippines.
