The Coffee Loft Shares Their Summer Drink
Cool off with an iced drink special from the Coffee Loft.
We have the latest openings, closings and everything in between for area restaurants.
Spring is here and the Coffee Loft is serving a signature iced drink to help you get into the season.
With the heat of spring upon us, Marlborough Patch stopped by the Coffee Loft to talk warm-weather drinks. Their drink of the month is an iced dirty raspberry chai tea latte. With a hint of raspberry over the spiced chai tea latte and a shot of espresso, it is a great way to get some refreshing caffeine on a warm day. When do you make the transition to iced coffee? Do you have a favorite drink you switch to when the warm weather hits? Let us know in the comments.

Massachusetts microbreweries have embraced the can in their summer beer offerings.
Cans are all the rage in the microbrew beer world this summer, according to Aaron Aykanian at the Vin Bin. "When all those people saw Sam Adams was doing it, everyone started doing it," said Aykanian who is the Vin Bin's beverage director and manager of the Hopkinton store. I'm hoping to drive my old beater into the ground before we need to get another car, but I'm on the lookout. What's your next car going to be?
My wife and I drive a perfectly good 2002 Nissan Sentra with 127,318 miles on it. "Stella" has four wheels and gets us from Point A to Point B. We've reached the stage in the life of the car where we don't repair body damage (as you can tell from the accompanying photo). I'm ashamed for my Dad to see it. But hey, it's paid for. Even though I'd love to get 200K miles out of Stella, she has some mechanical problems, like a seized bolt that has left the transmission fluid unchangeable for about eight years. She could conk out any old day. So we've been on the lookout for our next car. I'm paying attention to car commercials, asking friends about their cars. You know the feeling. We're looking for something that gets good gas mileage, and is …

Scott, I like your style. I also like how wicked they look in black and now that the new generation offers 4WD it is definitely at least a little pragmatic. For the same reasons, the Chevy Trailblazer SS will always have a spot in my dream garage.   more ›
