Marlborough Area Kettle Drive 2012 Bell Ringers There is a need for volunteers to ring bells for this Christmas Salvation Army Kettle Campaign. The Concrete Results The Marlborough Area Service Unit of the Salvation Army was formed to facilitate assistance to residents of Marlborough, Hudson, Northborough, Clinton and Berlin. The money raised in the Marlborough area from kettle collections and business sponsorships provides food, clothing, medicine, assistance with utility bills and other aid to area residents in financial distress. The Salvation Army also sends children to summer camp in Sharon and provides toys to children and gifts to nursing home residents at Christmas time. |
The Process
Consider asking someone to volunteer with you. It's more fun and probably raises more money. Also, are you part of an organization (church, temple, school, workplace) that might want to "own" a set of time slots – such as a whole Saturday or every Tuesday evening? Perhaps you can encourage the leaders of your group to take that kind of step.
We are looking for people to donate time to ring bells in front of one of the following stores, depending on which time slot you select:
Price Chopper, 240 East Main Street (Rte. 20), Marlborough or
Stop & Shop, Technology Drive (off Rte. 85), Hudson, MA
