There is too much money in politics, and I've been very clear on my blog for the need to reform campaign finance laws—on all sides.
But, in Marlborough and across Middlesex and Worcester: Local Aid is cut; property taxes are up; home values are down. Massachusetts road, bridge and MBTA projects take seven to 10 years to build. And, the commercial vacancy rate along I-495 exceeds 50 percent.
Unfunded mandates and the unfair Chapter 70 funding formula still negatively affect our schools.
Yet, As a State Senator, Jamie Eldridge makes as his number 1 policy initiative to (somehow) overturn a U.S. Supreme Court decision on super-pacs, while his Massachusetts tax, regulatory and Canadian health care plans would bleed this Commonwealth dry and eliminate jobs.
It's time to put education and the economy first, not a failed, narrow policy agenda targeted exclusively to the special interests.

Eldridge is clueless on a Liberal charge to destroy rights in many fronts, he will probably next want us to give free contraception to our children. He doesn't believe citizens have rights guarantee by the second amendment either!

This is the same fool who along with McGovern have traveled the state as part of Deval's dog and pony show OPPOSING implementation of the Secure Communities Act that would alert ICE whenever a CRIMINAL Illegal was arrested by local police for other crimes. He spends more time and effort advocating for ILLEGALS than the CITIZENS he claims to represent.
The parents of the young man in Milford who was dragged to his death after being run over by an Illegal from Ecuador must really impressed by this fraud. (BTW, the illegal's brother, also an illegal, was just recently arrested on another criminal charge. Both should have been detained and deported, but through the misguided efforts of fools like Eldridge and his ilk they continue to prey on American citizens. Throw this dirtbag out of office and force him, for the first time in his miserable life, to get a job in the private sector (if he can).
