By Monday, the skies should be clear.

A winter weather advisory, wind advisory and hazardous weather outlook was put into effect until 1 p.m. Sunday for Marlborough and other parts of Greater Worcester County.

The National Weather Service predicted snow mainly before 3 p.m. on Sunday, with a high near 24 and gusts as high as 48 mph. There is an accumulation of 2-4 inches possible, and also a slight chance of more snow before 8 p.m. The forecast calls for "blustery" weather that will create a low of -5 with the wind chill value. President's Day should be sunny with a high near 31.

A winter weather advisory is issued when snow and ice are expected to accumulate. The National Weather Service noted that these conditions could complicate driving, but would not make it impossible.
