In our photo contest this week, readers from all over the region shared with us their favorite photos from 2012.

But we could only choose one.

All photos uploaded before 6 p.m. yesterday were under consideration to be crowned the winner in Patch's Picture of the Week Contest.

After deliberating, we had to go with Suzanne Greenwald's photo of the boy skimboarding, as shown above.
