Two Police Officers Injured and Sudden Death

The following Police Log information was supplied by the Marlborough Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

 

Friday, Jan. 25

7:21 a.m.: A burglar alarm went off on Lakeshore Drive.

8:00 a.m.: A police officer was reported injured at the Police Department on Bolton Street. Police officials do not comment on officer injuries.

9:03 a.m.: A past breaking and entry was reported from Easterly Treatment Plan on Boston Post Road East.

10:02 a.m.: Ambulance assistance was provided at Solomon Pond Mall on Donald J. Lynch Boulevard.

10:15 a.m.: Police assisted firefighters at the MacDonald Hotel on Main Street.

11:46 a.m.: A burglar alarm went off at the Navin Skating Rink on Bolton Street.

12:56 p.m.: A police officer was reported injured from the MacDonald Hotel on Main Street. Police officials do not comment on officer injuries.

1:47 p.m.: A disturbance was reported from the Marlborough High School on Bolton Street.

2:27 p.m.: Larceny was reported from Main Street.

4:29 p.m.: An elevator rescue was carried out at Sungard Availability Systems on Locke Drive.

6:47 p.m.: Suspicious activity was reported from The Heights at Marlborough Apartments on Briarwood Lane.

7:32 p.m.: Ambulance assistance was provided on Broadmeadow Road.

10:16 p.m.: A disturbance was reported from Howe Street.

10:34 p.m.: A disturbance was reported from The Cozy Cafe on Lincoln Street.

11:08 p.m.: A disabled motor vehicle was reported from Donald J. Lynch Boulevard and Solomon Pond Road.

Sunday, Jan. 26

4:13 a.m.: A burglar alarm went off on Maple Street.

7:26 a.m.: The DPW was called out to Concord Road.

7:55 a.m.: A sudden death was reported from New Horizons on Hemenway Street. The death is not suspicious, according to police officials.

10:37 a.m.: Police provided ambulance assistance at The North Meadows on Hemenway Street.

1:17 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident with injuries was reported from Lakeside Avenue.

2:49 p.m.: A disturbance was reported from Mill Street Central.

3:52 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident with injuries was reported from Broad and West Main Streets.

4:05 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident with injuries was reported from Fitzgerald Collins Funeral Home on Lincoln Street.

4:36 p.m.: A disturbance was reported from SMOC on Stevens Street.

5:34 p.m.: A disturbance was reported from the Marlborough Hospital on Union Street.

5:58 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident with injuries was reported from Lakeside Avenue.

6:10 p.m.: Ambulance assistance was provided at New England Sports Center on Donald J. Lynch Boulevard.

8:29 p.m.: Suspicious activity was reported from Farm Road.

11:58 p.m.: A domestic disturbance was reported from Pleasant Street.

Sunday, Jan. 27

1:13 a.m.: A disturbance was reported at the West Ender on Boston Post Road West.

1:41 a.m.: A domestic disturbance was reported from Baldwin Avenue.

8:37 a.m.: Ambulance assistance was provided on Ash Street.

10:00 a.m.: A domestic disturbance was reported from Royal Crest Apartments on Royal Crest Drive.

11:48 a.m.: A motor vehicle accident with property damage was reported from Bolton Street.

12:55 p.m.: Larceny was reported from Hannaford Super Market on Boston Post Road West.

3:20 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident with property damage was reported from Boundary Street.

5:31 p.m.: Police arrested Valeria Saraiva, 51, of 319 East Main Street Apt. K3 on Main Street and Curtis Avenue on charges of operating under the influence of liquor, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and violating DPW rules and regulations.

8:12 p.m.: Police provided ambulance assistance on Elm Street.

11:19 p.m.: Suspicious activity was reported from the Hillside School administrative buildings on Robin Hill Street.

Monday, Jan. 28

2:07 a.m.: Police arrested Daniel Bruso, 20, of 153 Main Street Apt. 19 on Main Street on a warrant.

3:24 a.m.: A burglar alarm went off at the Target Store on Boston Post Road East.
