(UPDATE) Trick or Treating Tonight!

City officials have called Halloween on for tonight.

Update:

Halloween is on.

National Grid, the Marlborough Police Department, and the Marlborough Fire Department were all consulted before a decision was made to have Halloween activities proceed tonight, according to a release posted on the city's official facebook page.

City officials will be releasing a list of closed streets later this afternoon and will follow that up with a city wide phone call.

Original Article:

With Halloween and storm damage both upon us, city officials have yet to make a decision on trick or treating tonight.

Many of you have been clammoring for an answer to know whether you will be out braving the rain tonight, or, as one person on facebook commented whether they could break into the Halloween candy already.

Officials met yesterday multiple times to discuss storm damage. With 4,500 people still without power yesterday morning and cleanup still under way, officials said they were attempting to assess the conditions before making a call.

As we wait on word from the city, lets bring a little Halloween joy of our own out here on Patch. If you have a photo of your Halloween costume that you may, or may not, be able to show off tonight, take the time to upload a photo and add it to this article. We could all use a little Halloween spirit as we wait to see if there will be trick or treating tonight.
