SOUND OFF: What's the Worst Speeding Spot in Marlborough?

Do you think speeding is an issue in Marlborough? If so, let us know where you think it's the worst.

It's the summer, and everyone is out.

While you're going about your business, it's not uncommon to see vehicles zipping up and down streets.

Speeding. Do you think it's an issue in Marlborough?

We want to know if you think speeding is a big deal and, if so, where you think it's worst. Where would you love to see cops pulling over speeders, left and right?

South Street. The truck's are not only speeding but ruining the street. Should not be on the street. To many children. It's residential not a highway. Really wish the city would take a look at this soon.

Dean Toad at 7am and 2pm, Monday through Friday during the school year. MHS students with their parking tags displayed use Dean Toad as a cut through from the east side of Marlborough in order to avoid Rt.20. This has been ongoing and getting worse since the zirchard Estates development

Rt 85/Bolton Street West as vehicles take the right turn onto Reservoir Drive. Their speed is excessive as they take this right turn and they fail to realize Redspring Road is within a few yards in on the right hand side. Vehicles pulling out of this road are placed in jeopardy and a school bus stop also is at the end of RedSpring Road.

Farm Road has been a nightmare since they built Raytheon and it became a cut through from Rt 85 to Rt 20, not only the speeders, but the commercial vehicle traffic is unreal. The police department doesnt have the manpower to cover it but also the cops dont want to enforce it because of the economy and giving out tickets. To bad written warnings work fine, but at least be there and stop them even if nothing is done. I have lived on the street for 30 yrs it is getting worse.
