The latest weather report from WHDH Channel 7 Boston points to snow increasing as the evening commute approaches.

The storm front has hung onto the South East portion of the state, pulling forecasts for 6 to 10 inches of snow down towards Providence and Plymouth. Marlborough is still within the area expected to get 3 to 6 inches of snow. The slow start of the storm does not indicate its true potential, said forecasters.

Plan on widespread-steady snow for just about everyone tonight---this is when we get most of our accumulating snows," writes Jeremy Reiner in the Channel 7 Weather Blog.

The snow will continue to be steady throughout the afternoon and into the night, he writes.
