Welcome back, Patch Blogger!

Where's the Best Local Place for Entertainment?

Choose your favorite venue for live music, theater or other forms of entertainment this week.

Yes, the suburbs have culture, as in live theater, music, performance and other forms of entertainment.

Choose among your favorites in the region, vote in the poll, and then write a review on the Patch directory of businesses. If your favorite is not listed here, add it to the comment section.

Milford Performing Arts Center

Grafton Inn

The Celtic Tavern

The Lazy Dog

Bay State Green

Thomas Kinkade Signature Gallery

Voting ends at 9 a.m. Friday.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews posted this week on the Patch Directory of businesses and services. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch. The official rules go into greater detail (Editor's Note: see attached PDF).

In the event of a tie, the editor will choose based on the highest combined number of positive reviews (on the business listing in Patch Places) and comments. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

So tell us where you go for entertainment. And don't forget to tell us in the comments below why this is your favorite place.

I am a people watcher so I am easily entertained almost anywhere I go. For live bands I would nominate JJ"s Sports Bar.

My vote would go to the steakloft in Northboro. They have live entertainment on Friday nights. An older crowd, Great people, I have had lots of fun there.

If the college kids that volunteer here were to vote, it would be The Lazy Dog but thats because they can't have a good time without getting drunk.

As for my family, I would to vote for Dante's at Firefly's in Marlborough for good food and live music.

I'm a live music guy and for me, there's too many out there, I couldn't pick just one to vote for, but keep in mind there are plenty of LOCAL MILFORD establishments to patronize that feature live music-

The Center for the Arts in Natick (TCAN) is an excellent, intimate venue for live music.

Any place the Road Dawgs are playing..hehe!

My favorites are: Celtic Tavern, Angry Hams, JJ's.
Sadly no place "has it all" good stage with lighting, good food, fun bar staff, good clientelle, large dance floor, seating, interesting band selection..my selections have most of these.
