Lincoln and Bolton St. When police are scooting down 85, you can't see them until it's too late, when you are in their path, and in the intersection.

intersection of rte 85 and Lincoln St at Exxon station. People have no idea that if you are turning left to go towards Price Chopper you DO NOT have the right of way.

I agree on that one! I've almost gotten hit numerous times trying to go straight at that intersection..

I assume that by 85 & Framingham Road, you mean trying to make the left out of Acre Bridge Road. During heavy commute times, i go down to the light at Walker even though it's out of the way I usually see cars that were in front of me still waiting.

Wether they call it Framingham or Acer Bridge, both ends can be bad. Either diving off Rt 85 onto by Micky D's or cutting out onto at Acre Bridge end.

You are probably right. I couldn't remember the name of the road just across from Kennedy's there, and Google said it was Framingham Road...

Peter's Ave (off cook lane) and Rte 20 (Boston Post Rd) is horrible in the morning or when Rte 20 is busy. Either a traffic light or no left hand turn during certain times may help.

Framingham Rd is the street across from Kennedy's, where Monti's is. Although trying to go left out of Acre Bridge is ridiculous, Framingham Rd is worse.

Turning left out of the DCU near Price Chopper onto Rt 20 is a nightmare.

That's why they have a double line on Rt 20. You are not supposed to go left out of there. They should put up a very large sign not to go left for those people with a death wish trying to turn left.

Mechanic and Lincoln is only dangerous if you are attempting to go right on red. But the most dangerous intersection is where Lincoln turns into Rte 20 at Stevens St. Most people don't seem to understand who has right of way there.

Going east on Rt 20, when you get to that intersection and make the turn right, you are supposed to stay in the right lane. Coming off of Stevens St and going left onto Rt 20E you need to stay in the left hand lane. Too many people just swing out and go accross two lanes, which is illegal.

It's all down hill on Rt 20 from both directions towards Phelps St. A traffic light here would be a good midway point, between Hosmer St and Farm Rd.

yes, that spot is terrible..if you are on RT 20 and need to cross the opposite lane and take a left onto Phelps, or if you are on Phelps and trying to take a left onto RT 20! Definitely need a stop light there!

don't put another light on route 20! enough people cut down curtis ave, to cook lane and down to farm road to bypass 20, the traffic on cook is going to be horrid enough once all those home are built, and putting another traffic light onto rt 20 will make it even worse

It's tuff and sometimes dangerous to drive 21st century cars on 19th century roads. There are so many areas that can be a test of courage and ability to travel. To enter another viewpoint, I think anyone who has or does live on Lliberty St. can attest to the race track conditions as people speed down the street at over 40 mph (speed limit is 25) to avoid the traffic on South St. When our children went to Bigelow school they were never allowed to walk down the street by themselves because of the traffic. Many home owners have spoken to the city with no results

i totally agree with you Beach street is no better people cut down beach to avoid rte 20 and south to get to 85 and they fly speed limit is 25 then cuts to 20 and we have two stop signs to try and slow them down they don"t even stop at them it is ridiculous

Coming off Concord and trying to turn left onto Rt 20 is a nightmare, and there is no alternative without a huge detour. A traffic light at Concord and Rt 20 would lower accidents, plus Cook Lane could be 2-way there and improve traffic flow.

Route 85 and Union Street is scary if you want to turn onto Union (especially travelling south on 85). There's a delayed green but no turn-only light...impossible to see cars coming if 2 cars are trying to turn from 85! Very scary.

Another badly designed and dangerous "intersection" if you want to call it that is when you're getting off the 85 connector onto 290W and trying to go South onto 495, you have to try to beat people coming out of the 495N ramp and cross over to the exit on the right.. And yes, that's technically still in Marlborough..

I swear that people who design roads never drive on them. So many stupid decisions are made. Take route 20 west near the Northborough line, who is the idiot who decided that the right lane was going away, and not the left lane (even though the left lane is the one that actually goes away)? Is it the same person who put the light right over the crest of the hill? Yeah, let's squeeze traffic out at the top of a hill and put a light there. Never had issues there until they "redesigned" it (more like screwed it up royally). I see so many problems in that area.

I noticed that one, too. Merge Left and that lane goes away. Good thing most drivers don't pay attention to road signs, anyway!

Ames & Forest St. They painted arrows to go left right or straight from Ames to Simarano. You can go straight from both lanes, however there are not two lanes on Simarano. There are no arrows painted at the intersection on Simarano going to Ames. Get in either lane and go which ever way you want! Brilliant!!

With all due respect, this isn't even close! The intersection of Main Street, Maple Street and Hildreth is the most dangerous since there are two streets at right angles to each other (ie, Main Street and Maple Street) that appear to have the right of way!!! It's a T intersection with only one stop sign (Hildreth). I've seen a number of near accidents here from drivers who were shocked to see they were in the path of someone else who also has right of way. Someone is going to get SERIOUSLY hurt here!!!

All good points and so many different intersections! I am often concerned buy how drivers treat the stop sign inside the Hannaford plaza where the parking lot entrance crosses the end of Northboro Road East. I would say about half of all drivers going straight to exit onto Route 20 run that stop sign. While speed wouldn't be a huge factor there, I'm surprised I've never seen a fender bender.
