POLL: Can Newt Gingrich Make a Comeback?
After taking losses to Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum in recent days, can Newt Gingrich make a comeback in the Republian primary?
According to Politico, Newt Gingrich's comeback is already secured.
Not in the Republican primary, where his opponents Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum have taken victories in recent weeks, but in the broader political realm.
"Gone are the days of Gingrich as washed-up talking head, spouting off inflammatory and easily ignored rhetoric on Fox News in decidedly non-prime time hours," Politico's Alexander Burns wrote.
After taking a role as a marginalized radical in recent years, his current presidential run is a test of how much relevance a single campaign can earn, Politico says. This quest for relevance motivates Gingrich's long-shot campaign, and drags out an increasingly bloody Republican primary.
While the chances of a Gingrich revival as a presidential candidate are slim, it is clear that win or lose, Newt will come out of his campaign in a position stronger than his last one.

Newt won south carolina! There is a reason why the winner of south carolina for the last 32 years has won the gop nomination, and not just a coincedence. It provides a key insight into how other big states will vote. Newt will do very well in march!

The reason Newt is the person that should be our next President is because he is despised by the insiders, the elite, the corrupt government that now exists. Anyone who is so feared is the man we NEED in office. These liberals, socialist, RINOs, etc., are running scared, stopping at nothing to try to destroy his campaign. Well, it's not going to work, we the people see through it, we're sick of it and we're going to make sure Newt CLEANS house! Get running people, because Newt and the rest of us are coming after you!
