12:50 p.m.: Police arrested Benjamin Amell, 30, of 898 Concord Road on charges of assault and battery and shoplifting by concealing.

4:09 p.m.: Ambulance assistance was provided at New England Sports Center on Donald J. Lynch Boulevard.
