Police Log: Cops Make OUI Arrests, Respond to School Incidents

Monday, Jan. 30:

2:43 a.m.: A report is filed concerning a suspicious motor vehicle in the vicinity of Briarwood Lane. 

3:34 a.m.: Ivaldir Brito, 50, of 151 East Main St., Apt. 2, is arrested during a motor vehicle stop near the intersection of Pleasant and Spring streets. He is charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violations.

7:39 a.m.: An act of larceny is reported at the , 9 Central St. 

10:02 a.m.: Police serve a warrant and arrest Thomas P. Ferrera, 49, of 112 Lakeshore Dr., on charges of violating an abuse prevention order and impeding an investigation through witness intimidation.

11:39 a.m.: Officers file a report concerning the recovery of a stolen motor vehicle. 

1:09 p.m.: A missing person report is filed at 50 Winthrop St. 

1:54 p.m.: MPD responds to the report of an assault at , 215 Fitchburg St. 

3:20 p.m.: An assault is reported at , 431 Bolton St. 

6:08 p.m.: After responding to the scene of a motor vehicle crash with property damage in the vicinity of South and Emmett streets, William J. Shea III, 63, of 31 South St., Apt. 4, is arrested for OUI liquor and leaving the scene of an accident. 

6:45 p.m.: Services are rendered when police investigate a suspicious motor vehicle at the Hildreth School, 85 Sawin St. 

10:50 p.m.: Officers serve a restraining order to an individual at Brook Village East, 319 East Main St., Apt. N3.
