Mayor Vigeant to Run for Second Term
Mayor Arthur Vigeant has taken out papers to run for a second term.
Mayor Arthur Vigeant took out papers to run for a second term Monday morning.
The mayor is the only person to have pulled papers for the position, which became available Monday morning, according to officials from the City Clerk's Office.
The run would represent a second term for the mayor who was voted in with 42 votes above his opponent Matthew Jones. During that campaign, the mayor ran on his experience, with 18 years on the City Council.

Well you better find someplace else to put your senior center, Arthur, because between that and the monstrosity on Rte 20W you approved of, if you don't move it you have a snowball's chance in you-know-where of getting re-elected.

I would like to see him gone as mayor and also gone from the school committee. NRT, the lousy bus company in Marlboro, wasn't supposed to be allowed to bid on the new contract last year for some reason ut he let them anyways. He doesnt seem to care aboutnthe safwtynofnour children in this city. This bus company has had so many accidents, bus blow ups and other unsafe practices but it is all about money not safety. What is it going to take? A child dying? Get rid of this company and put First Student back in.
