Marlborough Students on National TV

Students from the Immaculate Conception School in Marlborough will be featured on Catholic TV this week.

Students from the Immaculate Conception School in Marlborough have made their TV appearance this week on a Catholic TV game show.

"We are all very excited about our students appearing on WOW. We know there are many “red carpet” parties planned in family homes when the show premieres,” said School Principal Martha McCook who planned to show the program at the school.

Students traveled to Watertown for the filming of WOW: The CatholicTV Challenge. The show premiered on Monday night and has been playing throughout the week. Showings during the rest of the week will be on Friday at 6:30 a.m. and Saturday at 8 p.m.

"The students got to spend the day in the TV studios, which they enjoyed. They got to see how TV works behind the scenes," said McCook.

WOW: The CatholicTV Challenge features three rounds of three third graders answering host Father Reed's questions about phrases that have significance in Catholic life.

The shows can be seen in Marlborough on channel 268 for Comcast customers and 296 for Verizon Vios customers. It can also be streamed directly from the website.

"WOW on CatholicTV reaches over 13.2 million viewers on cable, which brings great recognition to the school," said McCook.
