Marlborough Election Guide 2012

A few of the candidates, incumbents and issues that will be affecting Marlborough are listed below.

As we look ahead to November’s elections, Marlborough Patch is devoted to bring you the information you need about every race in town. Here are five that locals are already talking about:

President Barack Obama: Fifty-three percent of the voters in our poll earlier this year said the president does not deserve a second term. What do you think?

GOP Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney: He took every precinct of every ward in the city earning 1,780 of 3,332 votes cast in the primary. A view to the future?

U.S. Rep. James McGovern: Becauase of redistricting, he is running for a new one this fall. Will he be elected?

State Senate race: Eldridge vs. Cavaretta: Both post regularly to Marlborough Patch and seem to be in high gear for this fall's election. Any thoughts on who will come out on top?

The Scott Brown vs. Elizabeth Warren Senate race: He has visited Marlborough at least once. Can Warren be far behind?

Ballot: There could be as many as four initiatives on the fall ballot.
