Heroin in Parking Lot, Drug Deal Turns Robbery and New Police
Police had their hands full this past week with a heroin call and trying to recruit for the department.
Marlborough Police were talking heroin this week while city officials tried to recruit more local people to the force.
Heroin was on the minds of many when two women were arrested in a parking lot with two needles full of the drug.
With the recent appearance of heroin at the Solomon Pond Mall, police are saying the stigma against the drug, which is injected into the system, may be disappearing.
This happened while city officials encouraged local residents to take the test making them elligible to enter the police force. These tests only come up once every two years, so now it the time, say officials.
Police also dealt with a drug deal that turned into a robbery. They were told about the incident by the man robbed, who reportedly told police his wallet was taken while he was selling another man marijuana.
