This week I scared up some fun Halloween events for grown-ups and kids. The events are fundraisers for two great causes in Marlborough: The Marlborough Community Cupboard and Milestone Stable's IEA team.
Halloween Fest is a fundraiser for Milestone Stable's Interscholastic Equestrial Association (IEA) team. They invite you to celebrate Halloween at on Saturday October 27th from 12 to 4 p.m. Enjoy a pony ride and haunted hayride for $5 per person. There will also be a bake sale, a candy hunt, and Halloween games.
To learn more about Milestone Stable, their IEA team, and future events you can visit their web site. Milestone Stable is located at 339 Boston Post Road East in Marlborough.
- The Haunted Woods Food Drive will take place from dusk until 10 p.m. on October 25 to 28. Be prepared to be scared as you walk through the spooky woods or let your guide know if you wish to have a less scary experience. Admission is a non-perishable food donation. Purchase treats for $1 each, such as hot cider and caramel apples. Proceeds will go to the Marlborough Community Cupboard.
- Halloween Party for grown-ups will take place on Saturday, October 27th starting at 7 p.m. Admission is $8. There will be a DJ, a live band, and a costume contest.
