Brutal Crime: Arrests and Background Work
From a "vicious" beating to how detectives investigate criminals; we have a run down on crime in Marlborough.
This week we featured a number of notable criminal activities as well as delving into how police investigate crime in the city.
The work that went into the arrest of Joshua Chevez reads more like an episode of The Wire than Andy Griffith, but it is the kind of work that goes into a drug arrest of someone alleged to have been dealing cocaine in the city.
There were controlled drug buys as well as a GPS tracking device used by police to obtain a search warrant for Chevez. After all that hard work, Chevez skipped out on bail and is currently wanted by police.
In a different kind of crime, four men have been charged following their alleged "vicious" assault of a fifth man. The injuries were enough to send the man to the hospital by helocopter with internal injuries and missing teeth.
