'Asian Tiger Roars,' and Other Stories You May Have Missed

The School Committee discussed the MCAS scores and we had a gallery of images from the Heritage Festival last weekend; these are some of the things you may have missed this week.

 

With so much information coming your way, some stories slip through the cracks and here we have compiled some you may have missed from the previous week.

“The Asian tiger has roared in Marlborough," said School Committee Member Mark Hediger at Tuesday's School Committee meeting as he highlighted the high scores of the Asian subgroup during MCAS testing.

The Marlborough High School varsity cheerleaders recently participated in the 23rd annual Jimmy Fund Walk in Boston, raising $1,529 for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Center for Neuro-Oncology to further its clinical research.

Single family homes sold well this past week. We listed off three of them in this story.
