Additional Break-ins Under Investigation
The investigation into a series of daytime robberies continues as additional robberies have been reported.
A police investigation into a series of daytime robberies continues as more break-ins have been reported.
Marlborough Police Detective Scott DeCiero, of the Community Services Bureau, said the investigation contunies into the daytime break-ins the department issued a press release about recently. At the time, police were investigating three to four break-ins that fit the description of other break-ins in surrounding communities.
Additional break-ins have occured in Marlborough, said DeCiero, but those are still under investigation. Part of that investigation will be to determine if there is a connection to the previous daytime break-ins, he said.
"It's impossible to say if they are connected," said DeCiero.
The robbers have been targeting small, easily carried items during the day while home owners are gone, say police. Marlborough Police Chief Mark Leonard encouraged residents to keep those items out of site and take steps to make a home appear occupied during the day.

I hope they're caught before they get caught by a home owner. Anyone comes in my house and I will let my dogs eat them!

Aren't there any fingerprints...anywhere...that maybe match up....isn't there SOME common thread....I'd like to see a map with red dots on it to see if my house might be next...same time of day.....anybody asking neighbors right away...nobody has cameras in their house....footprints in the snow....footprints on the wooden floors...visits by police to pawn shops....gold buyers...other known perps....small rewards....
